executive block orders

An Executive Order is a formal directive issued by the President of the United States to manage operations of the federal government.
It has the force of law but does not require approval by Congress.

Purpose:
Used to direct federal agencies, clarify existing laws, or guide policy implementation.

Examples:

Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation (1863)
