Dr James Thorp MD

Dr. Thorp is a board-certified obstetrician-gynaecologist and maternal-foetal medicine physician with 46 years of experience in obstetrics. He remains active in clinical practice and has dedicated his career to both patient care and clinical research.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Thorp has cared for a high volume of high-risk pregnant patients while maintaining a strong presence in academic medicine. He has authored 224 scientific publications, including approximately 40 focused on COVID-19. He has served as a peer reviewer for major medical journals and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Maternal-Foetal Medicine for three years.
