Aug. 4, 1965 – Yesterday in London, The Who filmed a performance of their new song, “My Generation,” at Twickenham Film Studios for an upcoming broadcast on American television. The clip is slated to air this fall on the music series “Shindig!,” marking what’s expected to be the band’s first exposure to a U.S. audience.
