Public Comment (Agenda Items Only)

Ordinance of Second Reading (Public Hearing - Ordinance 0-25-17)
• Description: This ordinance concerned the dedication of a portion of township property (Block 18301, Lot 102) to extend Independence Boulevard to County Highway Cross Keys Road.
Ordinance of First Reading (Introduction - Ordinance 0-25-118)
• Description: This ordinance introduced the vacate of a portion of Bringhurst Avenue within the township
Resolution 244, 245, 246
Theses were further amending the 2025 budget. (Adding\Removing Expenses and revenues)
Resolution 247
• Description: This resolution authorized the issuance and sale of up to $32,415,000 in general obligation bonds (Series 2025),
o This is taking existing loans and rolling them into long term bonds.
Resolution 248
• Description: This resolution authorized the issuance and sale of up to $2,285,000 in refunding bond anticipation notes
o This is borrowing an additional $2,285,000 in short term debt.

Second Public Comment
• Ms. Coyne: followed up on the council's handling of the proposed redevelopment of the Nike base by the Michael's organization.

o Did council ever receive and review the Michael’s proposal? CLIP 3
• Mr. Burns (Brian Burns):
o Murray Property update and does the Twp have a tree removal and replenish procedure? CLIP 4
• Ms. Bonita Joy Morrison: She used her time to announce her candidacy for council in the upcoming year CLIP 5
o Perhaps the people of LaCascada could wake up and not take part in signing a phantom candidate’s petition?

• Mr. Marcato (Council President):
o Mercado compares the Nike base land to the farmland that turned into the Outlets. He talks about the success of that transaction even though people didn’t like that it was connected to Norcross (Cooper Hospital) CLIP 6
