Ghost Effect for your streams!

How to make a "ghost" effect so you can play the game but your viewers see you under it at the same time!

I did this effect in meld studio but you can easily replicate in most streaming softwares as all you really need is the ability to stack layers and the change the opacity tools.
*Note that in the video I mention you can't see it on the vertical (Which was true at the time for my stream) but there's easy ways now with certain tools for vertical streaming, the effect is still the same and very easy to replicate.

So long as you have multiple layers one for the game and one for your camera. It's very simple but effective!

Make a new scene and add your camera video source (I used my webcam, via camo studio) and then your game video source on top of your camera and reduce it's opacity by around 50%

You put the camera as the "same size" (ie. 1920x1080, 1440p, 4k etc.) but drag it under the game layer, so the game is on top then change your games opacity to ~50% (more or less depending on what you want it to look like).

You can then put your chat/alerts/effects also on top if you really wanted to for that extra boost.

This effect is useful for lots of reasons, maybe you just want to hide yourself a little bit, or you don't want to completely hide the game but still easily show most of yourself, it's great for maybe when your afk for a minute, waiting to join a lobby or playing a different game casually on the side and it's so easy to just hide camera/remove the opacity, you can also group them together or make multiple scenes so you can swap easily between it with a cool transition and how you normally play, enjoy!
