The Iron Dome system as a whole costs roughly $50 million per battery, with each battery comprising radar, command systems, and launchers holding around 20 Tamir interceptors each.

Operational deployment usually involves multiple batteries for layered defense, and maintenance costs include radar calibration, software updates, and interceptor resupply.

Israel has procured over a dozen batteries, with much of the funding supported by U.S. military aid, which has contributed over $1.5 billion toward production and replenishment to ensure rapid-response coverage against short-range threats in densely populated areas.
