Operational deployment usually involves multiple batteries for layered defense, and maintenance costs include radar calibration, software updates, and interceptor resupply.

Israel has procured over a dozen batteries, with much of the funding supported by U.S. military aid, which has contributed over $1.5 billion toward production and replenishment to ensure rapid-response coverage against short-range threats in densely populated areas.
