This growing anti-immigrant sentiment is not only a local phenomenon; it has become a significant concern globally. However, the harsh realities faced in South Africa merit a more nuanced approach.

In Zimbabwe, for instance, many youths can tap into the vast arable land available and explore farming, thereby generating sustainable livelihoods.
