Outside of the Hoover aspect and Cold War being a hoax (per Sutton and Mullins), Molyneux NAILS this. Communism itself isn't a hoax, its just misrepresented as a Russian threat. The reality is it's a takeover of your government by the same internationalists/bankers and industry that control the gov't already for the past 100 years, maybe longer, but indirectly. In the takeover, the people are subverted & mobilized against themselves with Marxist sloganeering. Behind this I think the government is setting all kinds of things up to make it possible: building Soviet industry and agriculture from the ground up, sending them food after the Bolsheviks collapsed their system and they fell into mass starvation, doing the moon hoax and the nuclear competition together (you'll see in these lectures Oppenheimer was probably a soviet agent) and the govt lied constantly about fighting it when they were in on it and they were capitalists. The end goal is the govt owning the means of production but the govt being privately owned. So that doesn't invalidate the communist threat, it's real, and I think we're living in the aftermath of a long term, now-failed communist takeover.
