To activate the child lock, the hob must be switched off, by holding down the key symbol for about 4 seconds, The indicator next to the key symbol lights up for 10 seconds. The hob is now child-safe. As you can see, the induction hob cannot be switched on, the key symbol appears, which means that the hob is locked. To deactivate the child lock, press the key symbol for about 4 seconds, and the lock is now deactivated, and you can start cooking again.
