This Sunday, Dr. Richard Mays shared a message called, Dr. Richard Mays shared a message called, "Health, Wholeness and Healing: An Introduction." As Christians, we know that we are created in the image of God. Just as He exists in a trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, He also created humans with a body, soul and spirit. We are very concerned with our spirit's condition, and our soul, but what about our body? If God gave us a body, we should glorify God by taking care of it. It is, after all, the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19-20). And Jesus was so concerned with keeping His Father's temple cleansed, He violently drove people out with a whip! So why do we allow thieves in His temple?
