SpaceX Launches MTG S1 Mission

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched Eumetsat’s Meteosat Third Generation Sounder (MTG-S1) satellite, hosting the instrument for the Copernicus Sentinel-4 mission, to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on 1 July 2025, at 2104 UTC. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage(B1085) landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean
