Gas prices down from a year ago

2.4 million Michiganders are hitting the roads this week for the Fourth of July travel period. Drivers are seeing slightly lower gas prices. AAA of Michigan reports the state average is down 3 cents from a week ago to $3.26 per gallon. That’s is 13 cents more than at this time last month, but 42 cents less than this time last year.
