How to UNLOCK Electrolux EHF6240xxk Built in Ceramic Hob cooktop with 4 cooking zones (Key & Child LOCK). You can use the child lock to prevent children from turning on the cooker.

To activate the child lock, the hob must be switched on, then press the minus buttons of both front heating zones at the same time, hold both buttons for about 4 seconds until the letter L appears on all the heating zones, which means that all the zones are locked and child lock is turn on.
The hob is now child-safe.

To deactivate the child lock, the hob must be turn on again,
then press and hold both minus buttons of the front heating zones at the same time until the letter L disappears, now the hob child lock is Deactivate and hob can be used again.
