Welcome to album ranking Wednesdays here on the channel and tonight we are going deep beneath the earth into my home country of Canada, Ontario to be exact for a ranking of a new band (Yes they only have 2 releases but who cares) with Malgoth.

Malgoth formed in 2020 and features 2 members from the death metal band Chasmdweller as well. Now one of the things that really stands out about Malgoth is the dual vocalists and this brings a whole new level of insanity and stark raving madness to their framework which is definitely war metal (Bestial Black Metal with Death Metal Elements) But this is a whole other kind of war metal because Malgoth are extremely unique in their uncompromised approach to song writing.

While they do go straight for the jugular with relentless assault with no regard for being palatable, there is something deeper going on here when the tracks break into relentless slower pace chugging heaviness that brings a whole new level of thunderous viciousness to their already savage brand of extreme metal and this is one of the stand out bands for me in the last 2 years.

Yes folks Malgoth are not just another war metal band they are something of an entirely different breed of extreme metal and im proud to call myself a fucking diehard of their insanely demented evil craft.
