So welcome to album ranking Wednesdays here on the channel, and tonight we are going deep beneath the earth once again with a very obscure one man black metal project out of finland. With Rotten Moon who formed back in 2020 and has released an EP and a Full Length
In The Vale Of Astral Graves was released in 2020 on Esfinge de la Calavera Records
No Dawn in This World of Infernal Eclipses was released in 2021 on Esfinge de la Calavera Records (Im presently waiting for this to arrive in the mail as we speak)
Now if you saw my In The Vale Of Astral Graves review than you know what I described about this guys sound and the anguished overall rawness and misanthropic cosmic abandonment of his art. This is the sound of a man who wants absolutely nothing to do with humanity anymore but its also deeply contemplative and cosmically perplexing and definitely something that’s very unique all while maintaining that finnish early 90s sound that we would come to know and love through bands like Beherit.
