It's another adventure for DI Tom Thorne and his colleague DI Nicola Tanner ( the 19th Tom Thorne book).
This time out , after a successful arrest of a known villain , Tom receives a call from his boss DCI Russell Brigstoke saying that three of the four police officers assisting the arrest have died and the other one is in a coma - they have been poisoned.
Thus the tale unfolds with more murdered police officers and Tom and his team struggling to find the culprits whilst being aware that someone within their own organisation is providing information to the perpetrators.
A great police procedural/murder mystery from Mark Billingham - sure to be a hit with Tom Thorne fans.
