The Kabbalah is the mystical Western occult tradition that underlies Judaism. To study Western occultism is to study Kabbalah. Other traditions, including Astrology, Judaism, and the tarot, are intertwined with the Kabbalah and cannot be separated. Judaism and Astrology came out of the Kabbalah, and the symbols of these traditions came from the Kabbalah. To study the Kabbalah is to study the tarot.
The Kabbalah is much older than the Judaic tradition and goes back far into the ancient world, even beyond the Egyptian mystery traditions. The seal of Solomon comes down to us from the old tradition of the Kabbalah; modern Jews refer to this as the Star of David.
There is a dark side and a light side to the Kabbalah. Dark occultists always want to hide their methodology because they do not want people to understand their mind control methods. However, you cannot keep a person under mind control who profoundly understands the methodologies of mind control.
The Kabbalah provides knowledge of the self, and before being corrupted, religions were profound traditions that provided self-knowledge. However, now, religious leaders and dark occultists want to hide these teachings of self-mastery; they don't want you to look at the authentic tradition but instead want you to focus on the exoteric story they give you that has nothing to do with the self.
Knowledge has been hidden throughout the ages for different reasons; some people have had to hide it because they know its power to transform consciousness and how the male dominators of their time would kill them if they used this knowledge for positive transformation.
