HURT: “Okay, so this is my favorite thing that I want to ask you about. What’s the saying, pride comes before the fall? Well, somebody should tell that to Canada. They are adding a new letter to LGBTQ, ‘N’ for nudists. Among the many things I love about you, Kat, is you’re famously open-minded. You are also a new mom now.”
TIMPF: “Yes.”
HURT: “Are you turning into a prude? Do you approve of this?”
TIMPF: “No. Here’s the thing, I am very open-minded, and — being gay and being naked have nothing to do with each other. They simply have nothing to do with each other. Like, there is nothing in common between the two. You want to have that parade, the nudie parade? That’s a different parade.”
HURT: “So you support laws that are against people walking around naked down the street? Or no?”
TIMPF: “I mean, if there is, like, a nudie parade, there should be a forewarning, like, hey, there will be a bunch of nude people parading. It’s got nothing to do with being gay. You can’t — like, having the gay and naked parade, you could have like the gay and anything parade, it doesn’t mean it has anything to do with it.”
HURT: “Well — “
TIMPF: “Oh, we are up against the break? You bring this up at the last second? I could do an hour on this, America.”
HURT: “I thought we were going to break some real news and you were going to find a law you were in favor of, but no, you just want a warning.”
TIMPF: “Murder. I’m against murder.”
HURT: “Thank you so much. We’ll be right back.”
