U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Air Force Airmen position a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), and a Platoon Operation Center (POC), assigned to 1st Multi-Domain Task Force, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), into C-130 Hercules assigned to 374th Airlift Wing, 5th Air Force during a HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN), training event in support of Salaknib 25 at Subic Bay, Philippines, May 22, 2025. This HIRAIN training event emphasizes joint interoperability and strengthens warfighting readiness and lethality through realistic, combined training. Salaknib 2025 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
