Let Me Be What God May Desire. Until I Am Fully Invested In Him, And He In Me, As A vessel For Him

I remember standing in front of a mirror 30 days after I had determined to go with Jesus.

I had quit smoking and I wanted a cigarette that Sunday morning. I can remember where I was standing.
I looked in the mirror. I said to who ever would listen. “You know my resolve; I’m not going back. I can’t go back. I Am going forward.”
And I did, not without a few lumps-bumps on my head.
•••
I used to say.

Let Me Be
Be What I
Will Until I
Am What
I Am
•••
Then I arrogantly prayed
Set Me Upright
That You May Lay
A Great Weight
Upon Me Until
I Ground My Teeth
And It Crushed My Back
May God Be Blessed Forever and Ever Never Get To Heaven Any Other Way

Com’on you know, those who got in the trenches. You know what’Im talking about.
You waited beside the bed of a man or woman. Giving them the only comfort possible. The prayer of Jesus. Come on Nurses.

Come on Moms Dads, you’ve prayed over that wayward son or daughter. And some of those children are in their 50’s even 60’s
God is still in the business of answering prayer.

You know Nursing Home Attendants. You who get no credit for cleaning, caring, comforting, communicating with someone who greatest need is food, rest and their basic needs. May God give you comfort and care in this your day of need.

I’ve prayed when things got tough. I’m in the trenches Lord.
And I’m Still Your Man
I Still Belong To You
Com’on Folks
Haven’t You
Ever Been
There?!?!

God is going to come through for you. All the times you stood firm in the good and holy way.

Joel 2:25-32

25
“And I will compensate you for the years
That the swarming locust has eaten,
The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust—
My great army which I sent among you.

26
“You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied
And praise the name of the Lord your God
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.

27
“And you shall know [without any doubt] that I am in the midst of Israel [to protect and bless you],
And that I am the Lord your God,
And there is no other;
My people will never be put to shame.

The Promise of the Spirit

28
“It shall come about after this
That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.

29
“Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

The Day of the Lord

30
“I will show signs and wonders [displaying My power] in the heavens and on the earth,
Blood and fire and columns of smoke.

31
“The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood
Before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.

32
“And it shall come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Will be saved [from the coming judgment]
For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
There will be those who escape,
As the Lord has said,
Even among the remnant [of survivors] whom the Lord calls.

This scripture is for our day
For you and I

Let Me Be What God May Desire.
Until I Am Fully Invested In Him, And He In Me, As A vessel For Him

Is That Not God’s Desire That
You And I Be Someone He Can Fully Inhabit You And I To Use As A Vessel For His Use To Touch Others In Jesus Name
I Vouchsafe To You Today It Is A Wild Topsy Turvey Romance To Match None.

Do all things in the name of Jesus
And It is so❗️

Colossians 3:17
17 Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Does this answer your question about God’s will?

Hallelujah I Have Found Him

1. All my life I had a longing
For a drink from some clear spring,
That I hoped would quench the burning
Of the thirst I felt within.

Refrain:
Hallelujah! I have found Him
Whom my soul so long has craved!
Jesus satisfies my longings,
Through His blood I now am saved.

2. Feeding on the husks around me,
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
Only still to hunger on.

3. Poor I was, and sought for riches,
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul’s sad cry.

4. Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of life so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.
