The majority of Nazarene or Messianic Judaism is predominantly made up of people performing “Where’s Wally,” or if you’re in the US, “Where’s Waldo,” with the Messiah in the TaNaK (A.K.A. Old Testament). There is little to no emphasis on actually teaching the Torah. There is little to no time spent on teaching Mussar (moral conduct), Shmirat HaLashon (guarding one’s mouth), Kashrut (eating Kosher), Shmirat Einyayim (guarding one’s eyes), Shomer Shabbat (keeping Shabbat) and Halacha (the generally agreed upon way in which one observes the Torah). Few Teachers, if any, actually teach on what the Messiah taught, but instead spend thousands of hours marvelling at how the Torah, the High Holidays and books like Tehillim (Psalms) reveal Him.

This work dares to show you a much grittier Messiah, a Messiah that was an ultra-orthodox second Temple Era Jew, who taught with so much fire that at one point most of his own talmidim (students) deserted him.

Born in an animal shelter and laid in a feeding trough, hunted, living most of his life in secret, catapulted into a controversial and short-lived ministry, ending in torture and a brutal execution, this man has become the most fixated upon, yet most misunderstood individual in human history.
