Following a breakthrough to the border of the Dnipro region, Russian troops have shifted their focus to the Novopavlivka direction, with the objective of expanding their control zone in the border region. In recent developments, the armed forces have successfully secured control over Orikhove and have repelled Ukrainian forces from most of Novonikolayivka and Oleksiivka.

On the northern flank, assault units advanced from the east along the Vovcha River and from the south, driving Ukrainian forces out of the eastern part of Novonikolayivka.
