A solo Let's Play done by TheVespor (along with Ramsis doing commentary during the playthrough) as we showcase the fourth in our 16-Bit Wrestling Video Game Retrospective. Game number 4 is Battle Royale for the TurboGrafx 16. North American exclusive wrestling based goodness at it's umm best? Well it's something alright.

You choose from five wrestling with different looks and personalities and it is your goal to toss the other four out before you yourself get tossed out. You hit with kicks, punches and a limited super move that you can use every now and then, when they glow and are on the ground you pick them up and toss them out and .. that's the entire game. Yes.

Has two different modes. Regular battle royale where all five are in at once and last man in the ring wins. Or Tournament mode where you have to try to get through 15 rounds with each round getting harder and filling with more wrestlers to deal with. The game is noted for having 5-player mode where you and four friends can play together in a party play style of game play.

We found 12, yes 12, 16-Bit Wrestling Video Games to showcase during our Season 5 retrospective and this is going to be a ride in the ring you definitely don't want to miss and won't forget. For both good and bad reasons. But that's how it usually is in these looking back on games from the present.
