While cigarmakers in Nicaragua are regularly mentioning growing regions in their blending info (i.e. Esteli, Jalapa, Condega, Ometepe), most Dominican cigar makers simply list 'Dominican' under the wrapper, binder, and/or filler. Interestingly enough, the D.R. actually has more growing regions than just about any other cigar making country (there are even a couple I wasn't able to fit in this video). And these growing regions are responsible for producing leaf for some of the most famous cigars the world has ever known. In this video, I'll take you through each region and the world class cigars that come out of these places. So if you're a fan of Dominican blends, buckle up.
