Former Central Bank Governor Dr Alvin Hilaire is demanding $9.87 million in compensation in his legal warning to the Cabinet, claiming he was wrongfully fired from his job.
His lawyers sent a pre-action letter through the Attorney General and the Cabinet Secretary, asking for a quick resolution to the matter.
Letters were sent to Attorney General John Jeremie and the Cabinet Secretary on July 2. Hilaire is represented by former prime minister Stuart Young, SC, Anthony Bullock and Imran Ali.
My Response:
PNM WRONGFULLY fired former Central Bank Governor Jwala Rambarran, back in 2015, in order to achieve their own agenda and yet the 1% media never made a fuss about it. Even if this "patriot" was wrongfully dismissed as well, I think the multi million dollar compensation package would've been WORTH IT! Prime Minister Kamla's administration needs to cleanse the public service of ALL high ranking officials who would obstruct the agenda to make T&T prosperous and safe again. The Kangaroo must be impeached and it's high time that the DPP is removed as well.
