The Spirit of 1776

Beneath the sky so wide and blue,
The red, the white, the starry hue,
We gather now, both young and old,
To honor tales of courage bold.

The rockets burst, the eagles cry,
The flags like fire in the sky,
A land once forged in rebel flame,
Still proudly bears its freedom’s name.

From Boston’s shore to western hills,
From bustling towns to quiet mills,
The spirit lives where voices ring—
Of liberty, and songs we sing.

We hold the dream, not just the land,
The right to speak, to work, to stand.
And though the path is never straight,
We march with hope—we build, create.

So light the spark, the fireworks fly,
Let hearts be lifted to the sky.
For on this day, we all proclaim:
The Fourth is more than just a flame—
It’s freedom’s voice. It’s duty’s call.
It’s one nation, for the good of all.
