Petition: Equal Rights for US Territories

U.S. territories—including Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands—continue to face a number of long-standing problems and injustices that stem largely from their colonial status and unequal treatment under U.S. law. Many of these issues could be significantly improved or resolved if the U.S. government chose to act honorably and decisively.
