Resident Evil 2 Commercial 1998

Resident Evil 2 is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It was originally released in 1998 for the PlayStation and later ported to multiple platforms, including Windows, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, and GameCube.
The game follows rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape Raccoon City during a zombie outbreak.

A remake of the 1998 game, titled Resident Evil 2, was released in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and later for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in 2022. Versions for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS were released in December 2024.
The remake was built on the RE Engine and received critical acclaim for its presentation, gameplay, and faithfulness to the original.
It sold 14.5 million copies by September 2024, becoming the best-selling Resident Evil game.

The original Resident Evil 2 was produced by Shinji Mikami and directed by Hideki Kamiya. It was praised for its atmosphere, setting, graphics, audio, scenarios, and gameplay, although some criticism was directed at its controls and voice acting.
The game was followed by Resident Evil 3: Nemesis in 1999.

The 2019 remake was well-received, with many players noting its improved graphics, voice acting, and gameplay mechanics. It also introduced new content and gameplay improvements, such as the inclusion of Crimson Heads and improvements to the story.
The game was followed by remakes of Resident Evil 3 in 2020 and Resident Evil 4 in 2023.
