Did Catholics Add to the Bible?

The Apocrypha was never part of the original Hebrew Scriptures and was never quoted by Jesus or the apostles. It was added by tradition—not inspiration. The word itself means “not included,” and that’s exactly what these books are: outside the true Word of God.
