Gross Negligence Manslaughter - The Mistrial of Lucy Letby

Hello and welcome to today’s tea break which is my take on the recent developments and arrests of top management from the Countess of Chester Hospital
The charges are brought by Cheshire Police for Gross Negligence Manslaughter.
The CPS having now received the charges are carefully considering whether or not to bring criminal charges since receiving and in-depth full file of further evidence for charging advice
All of which are apparently subject to a legal test which given what Lucy has just endured and the quality of evidence that got through on that occassion should be relatively easy to fulfil or there will be significant public outrage I should imagine at the very least
