Blessed are the Merciful

Understanding Matthew 5:7 is vital because it reveals the heart of true Christianity—mercy. Those who have received mercy from God are called to extend that same mercy to others. It’s not optional. Mercy proves we’ve been changed by grace. When we forgive, help, and show compassion, we reflect the very character of God. And the promise is powerful: those who show mercy will receive mercy.
