How to pronounce Yeshua

There are different pronunciations for the name Yeshua. Some people want to use this name for Jesus, but what many do not realize is where the stress lies in the name, and many do not know about the sound of the Hebrew Letter called the ayin. In this video I will go into Biblical Hebrew words and try to give you an accurate pronunciation of Yeshua, as well as the name for Joshua, strength, Messiah, and Hebrew word for “known”. In the video it is described how there are how some Hebrew speaking communities have pronounced this name with a w sound before the final letter, and some Hebrew speakers do not pronounce this w sound. I discuss a difference in opinion between two famous Jewish commentators as well as cite a Judeo-Arabic dictionary by a tenth century Karaite Lexicographer named Al-fasi who wrote a Hebrew-Arabic dictionary entitled Kitāb Jāmiʿ al-Alfāẓ.
