Riding world's FIRST 350 km/h sleeper high speed train | Shanghai - Shenzhen

Today, I rode the high-speed sleeper train from Shanghai to Shenzhen.

Starting October 1, the sleeper trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Beijing West Station, as well as those between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Station, had been upgraded to the "Fuxing" smart sleeper trains. This marks China's first sleeper service at a maximum speed of 350 km/h (217.48 mph) and the world's first high-speed sleeper train.

Note: The train's sleeper cabins are divided into upper and lower berths, with the lower berth priced 100 RMB (14 USD) more than the upper berth. I purchased a lower berth ticket for 960 RMB (135 USD). It's important to note that the train uses dynamic pricing: during holidays and peak times, the price for the same journey can rise to around 2100 RMB (300 USD).
