2021 Apothic Inferno Wine Tasting

Very bold red wine! Almost like it was fortified red wine! It just happened to be aged in whiskey barrels; I'm still convinced some whiskey was left in those barrels for the wine to be aged in! Don't get me wrong; it was a delicious wine, but I was not prepared for the boldness! It wasn't heavy in tannin or acidity, but it was heavy in spice and apparently maple flavor. Very interesting.
