What Are Those? Top Footwear Mistakes in the Gym

I don't feel like I should have to say this, but I do - stop wearing soft, cushiony running shoes to the gym! Those Nike runners might look nice, but they compress under heavy weight and force your knees inward, causing pain and problems. When you're squatting or deadlifting, you need a hard, flat surface to drive force into the ground. I recommend Converse, Vans, or No Bull shoes - they're flat and give you that solid connection to generate maximum power. You can get Converse on sale for like 40 bucks, so it won't break the bank!
