One Nation Under God

With the recent celebration of Independence Day on July 4, many of us spent time with family—watching parades and fireworks, camping, grilling out, and proudly wearing our red, white, and blue. And here in our little church, we did the same!

Today, Gary Froiland returned with a powerful message focused on our great nation. He shared a wealth of information about the founding of America—fascinating history that included heroic figures like George Washington, Paul Revere, and John Adams. But did you know there’s more to the story than what most of us were taught in school?

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
