The Fighter Jet Built Out of Spite | Dassault Rafale | History in the Dark

The Dassault Rafale is a French multirole 4.5 generation fighter jet. While France originally planned on working with the United Kingdom, West Germany, Italy, and Spain on a united fighter project, differences in the design ethos caused France to bail on the program. Frustrated, they contracted Dassault to produce a wholly French-built fighter who produced the Rafale. And it's really good.
