On September 22, 1993, an Amtrak train called the Sunset Limited was on it's way from Mobile, Alabama to their next stop in Pensacola. With a smooth ride, all clear signals, and no issues to report, the trip was seen as uneventful. But as the train made its way over the Big Bayou Canot bridge, disaster would strike and go on to become the worst in Amtrak's history.
