The (Bewildering) Fall of Osborne Computer Corporation | Getting Carried Away | History in the Dark

Founded in 1980, Osborne Computer Corporation appeared to be a fast up-and-coming computer company with a new, innovative, portable computer called the Osborne 1. It sold extremely well, so well that the founder Adam Osborne quickly announced the successors to the Osborne 1 before all the units were sold. Then people stopped buying it. Then competitors made similar and better products. Osborne failed.
