Fry's Electronics was once viewed as a major component of silicon valley culture. They were one of the few retail stores, or big boxes for that matter, that offered a wide selection of individual computer components. You could walk into a Fry's and find everything you needed to build a custom PC. But as the market changed, Fry's couldn't change with it. Top that off with corruption, scandal, and a pandemic, and you start to see why they failed.
