Mortar Teams of the Tank Division Enhance Shooting Skills in the Rear Area of Special Operation

Mortar teams from the 90th Guards Tank Division of the “Center” group are improving their shooting skills at a training ground in the rear area of the special military operation.

After returning from a combat mission, the mortar battery began preparing training points to continue enhancing their precision fire skills against the enemy. Within just two days, the soldiers fully equipped the training sites, recreating mortar positions located on the frontline.

Once the positions were set up, the crews commenced fire training exercises. The practice sessions utilized 120-mm towed mortars 2B11. The main advantage of these mortars is their capability to use all existing 120 mm mortar rounds.

During the exercises, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles also provided real-time adjustments for the artillery and monitored target engagement.
