If Epstein Had No Client List, Why Did AG Pam Bondi Say “It’s Sitting on My Desk Right Now”?

D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), July 6, 2025 — The Department of Justice wants Americans to believe Jeffrey Epstein left behind no “client list.” Yet multiple statements by Attorney General Pam Bondi directly contradict that claim — including her May appearance on FOX News Sunday Morning Futures, when she told John Roberts that the list was “sitting on [her] desk right now to review,” under direct orders from President Trump.

Bondi added, “I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That’s all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the president from all of these agencies.”

Now, Axios has released a two-page memo from the DOJ and FBI leadership — under new Trump-appointed Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino — claiming that:

Epstein died by suicide,

No “client list” exists,

And there’s “no evidence” of blackmail.

The memo uses highly cautious language to insist that “no credible evidence” was found implicating “uncharged third parties.” It further claims that over 300GB of digital and physical material was reviewed but that most of it involved child sex abuse material or protected victim data and therefore could not legally be released.

While reaffirming the long-standing official story that Epstein died by suicide, the document offers minimal transparency and no names of elite figures tied to his network. Instead, it shifts focus to “respecting victim privacy” and discouraging “unfounded theories.”

But those theories didn’t emerge in a vacuum.

Pam Bondi’s February interview with FOX & Friends host Steve Doocy made headlines when she stated clearly:

“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that.”

She also confirmed that a truckload of Epstein-related evidence had just arrived from New York — raising further questions about what’s being reviewed if there’s allegedly no list at all.

So which is it?

If there’s “no client list,” as the DOJ claims — what, exactly, is Bondi reviewing? Why did she reference it more than once on national television? Why did she lump it in with the JFK and MLK file reviews also underway?

The American people deserve real answers — not more disappearing cameras, broken hard drives, or carefully worded denials.
