Lion escapes from zoo and wounds farmer in Turkey

A lion escaped from a zoo in southern tourist town of Manavgat and was shot dead after wounding a farmer on Sunday  (July 6). Farmer Suleyman Kir who was sleeping at their farm with his wife was attacked by the male lion named Zeus in the early hours of the morning. It had escaped from a zoo called Land of Lions in Manavgat.
