Whatever deal was made in Mar a Lago, Mike Johnson has kept his part of the deal. The bill got passed. Trump signed it on July 4th. Mike Johnson’s next job will be 2026. The networks could not say a single nice thing about the bill, they have people dying because of it.

It might be a really good thing in America to have parties but they are shut out because of ballot access. What would happen if there was a true third party? Would these politicians have to actually keep their promises? The Elon Musk America party could focus on a few pivotal congressional seats, 2-3 Senate seats and 8-10 house districts that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring they serve the true will of the people. The political system in America is broken. Elon Musk is not off the rails, he is the richest man in the world, he could decide to go with the American party or his board of his companies could tell Elon to put the politics away and to focus on the companies. He will have a choice to make.
