Why is the US Embassy in Uganda this big?

Drove past one of the biggest U.S. embassies I’ve ever seen… in Uganda.
Giant walls. Tons of land. Signs that say “No Photos.”
And I couldn’t help but wonder…

If we’re a nation that claims to follow Jesus—
why aren’t we using that kind of budget to build hope, not walls?

Maybe there’s a reason.
Maybe there’s more we don’t see.
But maybe… it’s time we ask better questions.
