Street Stocks at Eldora

A National career race at Eldora Speedway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is a little bumpy, typical of a dirt track. There is plenty of maneuverability to navigate through traffic on this wide surface. A highly momentum track, so driving smoothly is a must. The track does get slick in the middle as the night progresses. Early in the night the low line is fastest, but I find after the Heats the top is fastest. Come feature time it is either the very bottom or the top line.

A nice caution free Showcase event. I did get into a couple cars, but not bad. Also got the outside wall far more than I would have liked. Overall though the race was pretty clean with great traffic navigation. I do need to work on avoiding/anticipating the bumps on the high line, as the fast line is inches from the wall.
