Matthew Taylor finds himself once again in the crosshairs of James Hind — the notorious online satanist — and his merry band of alter-egos, Project Night Watch (PNW).
This time, their meddling target isn’t Taylor himself, but his teenage son, Lewis. In what can only be described as another chapter in their long-running vendetta, Hind and PNW have apparently reported Matthew Taylor to Social Services — claiming that Taylor put Lewis’s life at risk by “allowing him to jump into a fast-flowing river” and “failing to help him back to shore.”
As always, the truth — according to those actually involved — is far less dramatic than Hind’s twisted narrative. Lewis, speaking for himself, messaged:
“Someone talked to social services when I went in the water. Some people need to mind their business. Someone said you wasn't helping me, when you was.”
In the end, nothing came of it. No hidden scandal, no dramatic rescue operation, no endangered child. Just a father and son by the river. As Lewis himself put it,
“It’s alright. Nothing bad came out of it.”
But that hasn’t stopped James Hind from playing self-appointed saviour of Taylor’s family — a role nobody asked him to fill. The entire farce highlights the same obsession and fixation Hind has nurtured for years: watching, twisting, and reporting Matthew Taylor at every opportunity.

Who gave Project Night Watch the authority to police a family moment by the river? It’s not just intrusive — it’s madness.
Understandably, Taylor is left weary and demoralised. With every word, every action, every innocent father-son day out being weaponized by Hind’s watchful eye, it’s enough to make anyone consider pulling the plug on their own 8 O’Clock YouTube show.
As Taylor himself says, “When everything I say is misconstrued, twisted and used against me — it makes me wonder why I bother.”
Yet despite the noise, the constant false reports and the malicious meddling, one thing remains certain: Matthew Taylor will carry on speaking his truth — river swims and all — no matter who’s lurking in the reeds.
