The 7th Annual Queer Liberation March (QLM) in Manahatta, Lenapehoking (Manhattan, New York City) was on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

The March assembled at the NYC AIDS Memorial and St. Vincent’s Triangle Park (7th Avenue between Greenwich and West 12th Streets) and marched north to Lenape Circle (59 Street and 8 Ave) and dispersed into Central Park.

Some of the messages were: "Stonewall was a riot (Stonewall was an intifada!), we will never be quiet," "Free, free Palestine, within our lifetime," "No Pride in Genocide," "Queer against ICE," "Lift the siege on Gaza now," "No ICE, no KKK, no fascist USA," "Fuck Donald Trump," etc.

The theme of this year was: "Resist! Reclaim! Rejoice!"

"2025 Queer Liberation March Will Fight Against the Rising Tide of Fascism, Persecution of LGBTQIA2S+ People and Communities, and All Americans.

As the results of the 2024 election have made clear that America’s LGBTQIA2S+ communities are under the greatest threat from the federal government we have experienced since the 1969 Stonewall uprising.

According to RPC Co-Founder, Jay W. Walker, "The decision to assemble at The AIDS Memorial was born of a desire both to honor the history of our communities' resilience in the face of a hostile federal government, and to return the energy of Queer Liberation to Midtown Manhattan, as we did with our first two Marches.”

“The Trump Administration’s and its allies’ unrelenting attacks on our communities – particularly Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender Nonconforming people – combined with their horrific assaults on immigrants, healthcare, civil liberties, freedom of speech, student organizers and our constitutional rights, as well as global rise in fascism and right wing ideology make this year’s Queer Liberation March more necessary than ever,” said RPC organizer, Jasmina Jz Sinanovic.

According to the organizers, Queer Liberation March is, and has always been, a protest. “That is our purpose. "The Stonewall riots (also known as the Stonewall uprising, Stonewall rebellion, Stonewall revolution, or simply Stonewall) were a series of spontaneous riots and demonstrations against a (NYPD) police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. Although the demonstrations were not the first time American LGBTQ people fought back against government-sponsored persecution of sexual minorities, the Stonewall riots marked a new beginning for the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world."
