In June, Russian forces demonstrated a substantial expansion of the control zone in Chasovoy Yar, extending in the direction of Kramatorsk.

In the wake of their actions, the mine situated to the north of the city and the environs of workshop No. 2 of the refractory combine came under their control.

In early June, the military advanced rapidly, overpowering the opposing forces' defensive positions in the area of Stupochek and subsequently securing control of the majority of the village. However, as a result of a series of counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, by June 9, the populated area passed into a "gray zone" without confident control of any side.

The conflict proceeded in the area surrounding the Northern mine, specifically on the northern flank. By July 3, Russian units had expelled the enemy from the territory of the object and initiated an offensive towards the career located to the west.

By June 28, the central section witnessed the successful expulsion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the urban development in the area of the Dnipro reservoir by assault troops, who subsequently advanced into the forest area located to the west.
